This is the beginning to great bunch of movies. This movie is phenomenal and considering it came out in 1981 and is still bad ass in 2013 is impressive. A lot of the cinematic persepective of the brillian Steven Spielberg comes into play in this film.
Harrison Ford and the whole cast nailed it. The story is full of adventure, mystery, humor, and of course history. Raiders of the Lost Ark is a great start to what will end up being a true masterpiece of a series.
It is equally as awesome as it's sequels! ( especially The Crystal Skull ).
