Review of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) by Shane D — 08 Sep 2014
After sitting through Expendables 3 and depressing myself at the sight of Harrison Ford in his mid-70s, it was a welcome tonic to sit through this and see the man at his peak - the hero of any and every child of the 70's/80's.
Raiders is by far the most authentic and free of some of the pitfalls of its predecessors (even though Crusade is my personal favourite) - if you forget about how they tied up the Ravenwood romance in Crystal Skull, Marion was also the best Indy gal-pal.
5 stars man, 5 stars.
