Review of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) by Victor T — 14 Sep 2014

For sure, one of the all time greatest adventure film to ever come across the big screen. There hasn't been many as good as this one before or after. The brilliant combination of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas was a match made in heaven.

I am especially impressed with the climax of the film when all the Nazis and such get killed by the power of God. Without the use of computers, they had to use other means that required tons of talent, props to the make-up and costume department, and Spielberg's direction for making that one of the most memorable scenes.

Also, the acting is superb, but what can you expect when Spielberg and Lucas are behind the camera, wonders happen. Without a doubt a movie that will always stand the test of time.
