Review of Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) by Steve W — 15 Jan 2015
One of the best films in the action/adventure genre, this homage to action serials by Steven Spielberg is simply amazing. All of the elements put together make this a monumental success, from the thundering musical score, rousing action scenes, memorable characters and trademarks with Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones, the hat and the whip.
A real sense of fun and adventure really makes this a special one, and a standard for all cinema to hold up to.
