Review of Ragtime (1981) by Dikiz . — 15 Dec 2007
The black struggle illustrated through a singular and poignant case. Its treatment remains fair and subtle, no excessive voyeurism about one's exploitation/suffering or other easy tricks to "shock" and "revolt" the audience.
The man's determination is somehow fascinating.
