Review of Raging Bull (1980) by Ydnar4 — 15 Dec 2014
Its hard to hate on a classic like this one, but Raging Bull doesn't have the effect on me that it likely would have if I had watched it in 1980. The film has worn a bit over almost 35 years as most films do.
Robert De Niro was still great in the lead role. I can't say anything bad about him, he showed lots of dedication by working out and then gaining weight to represent Jake La Motta after his career ended.
Other than that I found the movie a bit uninteresting.
