Review of Raging Bull (1980) by Bobby K — 01 Dec 2011
Lets face it; best sports film that's more about the practitioner than about the sport. De Niro's performance is pitch perfect, pulling off the sadomasochistic LaMotta with every inch off terrifying power as Malcolm McDowell with Alex in A Clockwork Orange.
I must admit however that this remains the only classic Scorsese film I've seen to date, so I can't wait to see Taxi Driver.
