Intense story with a pinch of psychotic violence. Brilliantly shot. Jake La Motta, unstoppable and somewhat poetic within the ring, dogged by jealousy and paranoia outside of it. Whenever Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro get together they always make a phenomenal film.
