Review of Raging Bull (1980) by Genieva R — 30 Aug 2012
This film will forever take me back to the time when had originally watched it.
No different from your typical drama though in my opinion, the story seems to revolve around anger & paranoia.
Whatever it is, whether you love a good ol' dramatic flick, or if it is seeing DeNiro as a hungry boxer from a time when boxing was beautiful.... whatever it is, Raging Bull makes for an interesting view.
Stay focused though; these black & white flicks don't always cut it for this generation.
The dialogue along with the acting & music is what had kept me interested.
By the way, if anyone has any clue as to what the song is that is played during the "Home Movies," montage, I would be very happy to know. The soundtrack/score is available, however, through the years I've been in search of which one is available and/or revised.
