I feel I have to qualify my 3 star review. I really enjoyed the film. The fight sequences were brilliantly choreographed and De Niro is fantastic. I just think the story was not really my cup of tea and it didn't immerse me into the life of La Motta.
Great film though, kudos to Scorcese.
