Review of Raging Bull (1980) by Arum Padma O — 21 Dec 2012
What can we take out of this? If you want to make a movie this serious and gimmick-less you better have something to say. Maybe Lamotta is an interesting character in real life, or hated, or just something else.
But I don't feel anything about him, about this film in general, no it's not painful or powerful. And it's definitely not DeNiro's fault.
