Above all else, Raging bull showcases De Niro's incredible acting ability as he delves into Jake LaMotta's violent character and obsessive behavior. The film is shown through a continous flashback, highlighting LaMotta's rise to success and later, his tragic fall.
The chemistry between Jake and Vickie is evident and well developed throughout the movie, showing each's motivations clearly. Definitely worth watching!
