Review of Raging Bull (1980) by Brent M — 22 Feb 2012
The title says it all. De Niro has never been so wild as he was playing Jake LaMotta. The shots are just beautiful and the dialogue cuts through to your heart. Raw emotion and very vulnerable performances make this a near perfect film.
Scorsese captures it all just right.
