Review of Raging Bull (1980) by Esteban G — 20 Apr 2014
What make this movie great was not the boxing ring itself, but De Niro that did a tour de force performance inside the mind of Jake La Motta, he embodies the character further like you're inside the limbo.
And Joe Pesci stand as one of the tough actors ever and Cathy Moriaty's transfiguration from a teenager and adulthood is not to be miss (De Niro too!)! With Martin's great direction, terrific cinematography and a script that delivers an outstanding inventiveness, it's one of the greatest achievement in film history!
