Review of Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure (1977) by Matthew L — 24 Mar 2015
While the animation is a little uneven, it is always feels as sincere and handcrafted as the titular dolls themselves, and sometimes is quite spectacular. The songs by Joe Raposo (of Sesame Street fame) are unsuprisingly memorable and heartwarming, the story is involving, suprising, always entertaining and usually sweet without being saccharine.
A unique film.
