Review of Ragged Heart (2022) by Ragingbulls — 06 Nov 2022
The plot takes its time to unfold. But if you like films like Nomadland or The Rider that feel more like a documentary and show earthy, "real people" then this might be worth your time.
Like those movies, it feels rough around the edges and captured rather than composed but the cinematography is still well done with some really nice images sprinkled though it.
The actors are mostly unknowns or just real people playing versions of themselves, which adds to the realness. And the world of the Athens art and music scene truly plays a central role in the story.
