Review of Rage (2014) by Adrian Z — 26 Apr 2014
Another sordid vehicle for Cage, this time playing a father with a criminal past, out to avenge his daughter's death at the hands of Russian mobsters, or so he thinks. Bland thriller does nothing to hold one's interest, even if it aspires to be a Greek tragedy of sorts given the way its plot unfolds, but the final twist is more pointless than tragic.
Cage is mostly dour, with ocassional flourishes of over the top dramatism.
