Back in 1989 I used to have this GREAT video guide book -L.A. Morse's "Video Trash and Treasures". He searched through bargain bin sci-fi, sleaze and horror to sort the sh*t from the gems.
That book pointed me in the direction of some overlooked good films and this was one of them. It wasn't great, but it was kinda cool and for a while back in the late 80s it felt like I had found a decent little film no one else had heard about.
Something off the beaten track with a cool premise and the guy from American Ninja.
