Review of Radio Days (1987) by Willem W — 07 Dec 2007
A brilliant little collection of memories, anecdotes, and sketches about the days when radio brought the US together. One of Allen's strongest works, but oddly minimized by critics. Allen is is full on Amarcord mode here, but of course infuses the style with his own wit insight, and comedy.
It's like three or four movies in one, but tied togethetr thematically.
