Review of Radio Days (1987) by Ben E — 23 Sep 2012
Easily the best Woody Allen film. When I look back at Manhattan, Annie Hall, Broadway Danny Rose, Sleeper, Bananas, Hannah & Her Sisters..all of which I absolutely love....for good reason Radio Days stands out as the very best of all of them.
The story is told in wonderful stages and is both hilarious and touching at the same time. Allen nails the nostalgia and the era of the "radio days" when instead of gathering around and watching "Dancing with The Stars", everyone listened to the radio and let their imaginations run wild.
One of the best films of all time and should be seen by anyone who enjoys film.
