Review of Radio Bikini (1988) by James B — 07 Apr 2011
Incredibly depressing, but well done documentary on Operation Crossroads, containing both perspective on the displaced natives of Bikini and the American GIs who were exposed to dangerous amounts of radiation.
The only missing element was the perspective of the crew of the Lucky Dragon, the Japanese Fishing vessel that was also exposed to deadly amounts of radiation.
A sobering film that is a must for anyone with an interest in the Cold War.
