Yes, Radio is a movie revolving around sports. But, unlike every other sports movie which brings cliche after cliche, Radio is not a movie revolving around the same ole sports plot. It's main focus is on a mentally-challenged person who gets accepted as a high school football/basketball coach.
Not only that, but the movie is filled with emotion, and makes you feel for the main character. This is a complete breath of fresh air for sports movies, and if only there were more sports movies as cohesive as this.
I feel this movie is too underrated, because the critics apparently think this movie is bad. If any of you are reading, please think about it. Even though it's not a movie I would watch consistently, I still enjoy it a lot.
