Review of Radio (2003) by Jordan T — 25 Dec 2008

There's a saying that you never go "full retard," but Cuba did it and I think he did it well. He wasn't too over the top, he wasn't annoying, and he wasn't stupid. It's roles like this that make me wonder why Cuba doesn't take himself more seriously and appear in worthwhile movies because this was good.

Tollin did a nice job of not making football the main story and Ed Harris was great (even though the real Coach Jones has a full head of hair). It took me four years to finally watch this and even though there were a couple cliche scenes and dialogue this was very enjoyable all the way around.
