Review of Radio (2003) by Kat S — 08 Jul 2009
Sweet film about a small-town high school football coach who takes a young, mentally challenged black boy (Radio) under his wing. However, when trouble starts to brew with the school and the football team, the townspeople want Radio gone.
Throughout these trials, Radio remains unchanged and teaches the coach and, eventually, the entire town a lesson about acceptance and compassion. A very "feel good" film with great performances all around.
