Rad is one of the most underrated 80's movies of all time. There are Olympic gold medalists, hall of fame pro freestyle and racing riders, a great soundtrack, epic high-school dance scene, epic qualifying and racing scene, Talia Shire, and an enormous cult following. On top of that, it is a great underdog/feelgood story. It was also groundbreaking for the bicycle racing industry, taking small brands at the time and giving them a foundation to become the huge names they are today, (Vans, Mongoose, Redline, Schwin, GT, etc...
On top of that this movie is still relatable today for kids all over the world.
