Review of Rachel Getting Married (2008) by Alejandra G — 20 Mar 2013
There are times when the acting feels so real, it's almost uncomfortable. Anne Hathaway and Rosemarie DeWitt are highlights in an incredible cast, and Demme's directing is one of the best uses of the hand held, pseudo-documentary style to be seen.
A sublime cinematic experience that explores drug addiction, trauma, and family dysfunction with honesty and care.
