Review of Rachel Getting Married (2008) by Sheron J — 11 Mar 2010
The story and acting are definitely the one that made this movie stands out for me. The story is about a dysfunctional family - which at first was not that obvious other than the fact that Hathaway plays an addict.
Hathaway did a really great job, it's not the kind of role she usually plays but she still did it wonderfully - she deserves the Academy Awards nomination. The one who played the sister also did a great job acting.
One thing I'm not too sure about is the ending, simply because I think it's pretty ambiguous. I don't really like the camera style at first, but I got used to it.
