Oh, my GOD, what a bad movie. I love down and dirty low budget movies (Once and Celebration are two of my all time favorite films). This gave me an eye ache, a taste ache and I finally had to run from the theater; aghast at what the hell all those good reviews could have been based on.
Maybe it was the appearance of reality, jammed as it was with unattractive non-actors jostling in front of a berserk hand held camera; plus the: "Oh, look, Anne Hathaway isn't wearing any makeup!" daringness of it all.
