Absolutely emotionally engaging on every level. Feels very real while being shot on digital handheld camera. Lumet wrote a touching and fun script. It's biggest issue is that it's just far too long.

At least fifteen minutes could've been trimmed from crowd shots and b-roll. Aside from the trimming it's a solid dramatic turn for Demme. Anne Hathaway seems to be a shoe-in for Best Actress of the year.
