Any kind of dumb 70's horror plot can always be turned into something better with a director who knows how to shoot a film. There are some WONDERFUL chase scenes in this film. Any 70's chase, if done right is always better then modern day chases. the raw sound of the motor as it drives down a dirt road is such an adrenaline rush. something missing in our days of quieter cars.
Not as horrific of a story as I was hoping for, but still it makes for a wonderful fun ride. Gotta love Peter Fonda and Warren Oates.
