Review of Race to Witch Mountain (2009) by Sam D — 17 Jan 2010
Given the right director, Dwayne Johnson is a pretty decent actor. The two kids are certainly cute and worked well together. Unfortunately, this film constantly falls flat on laughs or thrills, lacking the charm and mystery of the original.
Overall, this was a mediocre family film which turned "message movie" halfway through, which is why I'm dropped a star from my rating; and you should drop it from your list of films to see.
