Family-movie-with-older-kids appropriate, although I'm not too wowed with it. Too many impossibilities but that's what you get with Disney Sci-Fi films. I definitely didn't like the credits tandem with the aftermath of the protagonist's life.
Too many ending loopholes that resulted to a quickie closure. Too predictable. Good wins over bad, period. One critic comment I read here was right, it became boring at some point. So, don't bore yourself.
