Review of Race to Witch Mountain (2009) by Chris F — 05 Mar 2012
This movie could really boost a kid's imagination these days. I loved every single moment of it. I haven't seen the originals but this one truly fits this age. The mind powers the kids had are theoretically possible too.
Imagine two teenage kids that crash on Earth. They've come to retrieve a piece of weather analyzing technology left behind to save their own world from destruction and ours from invasion. They enlist the help of a tough cab driver and a scientist to retrieve their ship from a top-secret government base called Witch Mountain.
The group must avoid gov't agents, gangsters, and a mutant military drone from the other world. All too much to explain but see it and enjoy the fun. It makes me want to ride Space Mountain at Disney Land then whip out my telescope and start gazing up at the sky.
