Review of Race to Witch Mountain (2009) by David D — 23 Dec 2012

With a great story that is rebooted for the modern age, an exciting script and sharp dialogue written by Andy Fickman, Mark Bomback and Matt Lopez, a fantastic cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, AnnaSophia Robb (Charlie & The Chocolate Factory's Violet and Bridge To Terabithia's Lesley) and Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games' Cato), brilliant directing by Andy Fickman, dynamic action and chase sequences and a fast but amazing pace and flow, Race to Witch Mountain will bring back memories of the old Disney Witch Mountain movies in the 1970's for some, but for most this remake/reboot will have people scared but thrilled about this sci-fi/action film and trying to figure out what will happen next.
