Review of Race (2016) by Chris F — 11 Jun 2016
This is how you tell a story based on actual historical events. This movie touched on so many racial, societal issues that America experienced at the time, some of which are still present today. It captured the true horror of the early years of a Nazi Germany, to the point where you could tell it was getting bad and many were already being sacrificed.
To see it happen, and the actors were brilliant, they totally channeled every aspect of what was happening, the facts, the emotions, the connections between characters, the internal struggle each character had to face.
It was beautifully executed and I am thankful for this film. I hope many many people watch it and at least take something from it even if they don't like it.
