I believe this film is important because I talk to people in their 20's and they do not know who Jesse Owens is. This is horribly sad. In 1936 going by ship to Germany had to be a tiresome and scary journey.
Our country is so screwed up. To me this is the biggest Olympic story of all time. We're talking Hitler here. An American bested the German athletes and was welcomed back like a king, except by the President. Sad.
