Review of Race 2 (2013) by Tim M — 27 Aug 2013
Even twistier than the first! Great action and plot. How do you top killing someone for the insurance money? By stealing the Shroud of Turin! "Five years ago, in 2008, the Tauranis and Abbas-Mustan delivered a taut, enthralling thriller in RACE.
The intricate plot, the serpentine twists and turns in the narrative, good looking men and women double crossing each other, the dazzling locations and the adrenaline pumping stunts and chases left an ineradicable impression on the heart and mind of the moviegoer.
" It doesn't have the step-brother rivalry of the first, and the music is contrived. But, I think Padukone more than makes up for Basu and the James Bond/Don/National Treasure aspects are well executed.
