I was surprised at how opposite Australia and the US were in their view on mixed race children. The US said any African-American blood makes you black. Australia said any white blood in you makes you white.

The result was the same. Children lost and families torn apart. This movie is a powerful true story of three mixed-race aboriginal girls making their way back home after being taken to a camp in order to teach them how to become white people.
