Review of Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002) by Gavin S — 08 May 2010
A sparse, understated, compelling account of a remarkable true story, Rabbit Proof Fence is simplistic but poetic, due largely in part to the bleak, harsh nature of the wilderness of Australia and the gritty racial undertones, which are handled impeccably (note the PG rating).
