It's really the story itself that makes this film - the fact that we know it's all real and it actually happened. The children themselves aren't the greatest actors and were a little dull at times (am I allowed to say that?) so it's the supporting characters that helped it along.
It actually felt like it went for AGES! The book was definitely better.
