Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Amanda H — 29 Apr 2011
My biggest problem about this movie in comparison with the play is that the narration between scenes about the mother and baby rabbit are missing from the movie, and that's kind of vital. It rounds out the stage version nicely, and the lack of it in the movie takes away from the overall emotion of it, in my opinion.
Other than that, with the exception of some small changes, this stays true to the play, it just doesn't quite reach the same emotional level. It's a good enough movie, but definitely see the play if you have a chance.
