Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Travis S — 26 May 2011
Rabbit Hole was good. On its own, it was fine movie, but as an adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's fantastic script, it suffers. Eckhart plays Howie on one level the whole movie. He's constantly angry.
Kidman plays Beccas as overtly sad the whole time when Becca, in the play, tends to hold her emotions in. As a stand alone movie, it's fantastic. Go see it. But if you've read and enjoyed the play, or if you've seen or starred in the play, don't take the movie too seriously.
