Wow, this is just achingly sad. It is a very powerful film about sadness, loss and people that are broken (one of my favorite subjects for film and fiction). Acting is top notch and it was incredibly well shot.
Jen and I have watched this, Blue Valentine and Somewhere in the past few weeks and we joked that after this one, we need something a bit lighter and maybe some car chases soon to balance out all these sad (but beautiful) films.
Don't miss this.
