Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Peiqi Z — 06 Nov 2011
Not the most dramatic on the surface, the turmoils beneath the surface however are always boiling, on the verge of erupting, yet well contained within. Nicole Kidman portrays a distraught mother whose son was being knocked off by a young man whom she has ever since made friends with.
Aaron Eckhart the husband nevertheless cannot accept his wife giving such good attitude to their son's killer. Nicole Kidman demonstrates delicate handling of emotions amidst this intricately intertwined feeling, and shows some Oscar-level of performance.
Though I still do not understand why she has forgiven him, her performance is persuasive enough that forgiveness should be given.
