Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Peter A — 19 Mar 2012
Raw and uncompromisingly bleak, this is the story of a couple coming to terms with the loss of a child and the resultant fallout as they struggle to overcome their own grief and the reactions of those around them.
Kidman and Eckhart give superb performances and the script, based on a play, is taut and sparse that adds to the gloomy atmosphere. Its just a pity that its a little bit too short leaving you with no real sense of a journey.
Good that science is portrayed as a comfort for a change though.
