Review of Rabbit Hole (2010) by Kherry M — 13 Nov 2012
This is an incredible story, touching in every way, never cloying; always honest. It's about loss and how we cope with it. It's about a relationship, about moving on. Even if you don't like much drama, you will like this story, because it's fresh and sometimes funny in how it tells the truth.
It's one of Nicole Kidman's best performances. I was haunted by her relationship with the teenage boy, which makes SO much sense and is so tastefully handled. This is a must-see Blu-Ray if you missed it in theaters.
The dog even acts well. And Howie's choice at the end is the most moral decision I've seen a man make sense Kevin Spacey's character's choice in 'American Beauty.' This is an incredible film.
