Rabbit Hole is the story about the one unthinkable thing for a parent, and the consequences that you have to live with after it happens.

This movie was pretty slow all the way through, which is not really a surprise seeing as it's a drama, but there was still never really a point where something started to happen or a point where it made you want to continue watching. Instead it felt like someone was forcing you to watch it, but really all you wanted to do was to turn it off.

Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart play the couple Becca and Howie. Becca is the woman who can't seem to forget her four-year-old son who died eight months previously. Howie is the man who's trying his best to forget and wanting to go back to the way things were.

I must admit that I usually don't like Nicole Kidman, I find her annoying and irritating and I can't really say that this was an exception, because it wasn't. But it was still easier to cope with her in this movie than in any other.

The movie was realistic and the characters were credible, they showed just how hard it can be to lose a child and the different ways of grieving. How the two parents can grieve differently and how that affects the relationship.

I loved the storyline and the characters that had been created, but the movie was just too slow and it never really grabbed you the way that I'd hoped. This movie could have ended up a lot better, but sadly it didn't...
