Review of R-Point (2004) by Stuart B — 17 May 2008
You would think that war and horror would make natural bedfellows but I've yet to see the crossover really click. This Korean ghost story set in the Vietnam war is no exception. Although there are a few creepy moments it just isn't trying hard enough.
Michael Mann's The Keep is still the high water mark for war/horror crossovers, and that's not exactly setting the bar high.
