Review of Quiz Show (1994) by Bobby B — 19 May 2008
An extremely revealing look at deceptive practices in America...in this case, television. The script is engrossing in ways that very few are, and the film ultimately shows how its okay for rules to be broken as long as "nobody gets hurt.
" If you ask me, the same thing is happening today with "reality" television. Turturro, Fiennes, and the much overlooked Rob Morrow are all magnificent in a film that is sadly not talked about anymore.
