Review of Quinceañera (2006) by Tyler H — 13 Feb 2007

For those that don't know, a Quinceanera is a celebration for a girl when she turns 15. The celebration of her coming to womanhood. This movie is about a girl who gets pregnant at 14, without having sex with her boyfriend, before her Quinceanera. Her father is devastated & refuses to speak to her so she moves into her uncles, who is 84 years old & very very understanding!! Her troubled cousin Carlos already lives with the uncle. So, it is basically the story of the 3 of them.

I really liked this movie!! It was very touching, the characters were real, the story was good!!
